  3. The Stone What Would Krishna Do? Or Shiva? Or Vishnu? By GARY GUTTING  →

This is the ninth in a series of interviews about religion that I am conducting for The Stone. The interviewee for this installment is Jonardon Ganeri, currently a visiting professor of philosophy at New York University Abu Dhabi and the author of “The Lost Age of Reason: Philosophy in Early Modern India 1450–1700.”

Gary Gutting: How might looking at Hinduism alter philosophical approaches to religion that take Christianity as their primary example?

This is well worth a read through…

  9. We began our yatra above at the mouths of the Ganga (more or less) where she pours into the Bay of Bengal. And after seemingly an endless length of time we (most of us) made it to Gomukh in the Himalayas where Ganga starts her journey on this earth.

That was quiet a feat for which we can thank the devas, the excellent services of Radha-kunda das, Prem Gauranga Das and Yoginder Rana. On the way thanks to Kate and Rich for leading the yoga classes and Satya and Lee for carrying stuff and being such a welcome balance of calm and action. There are many people to thank all along the route who shall remain nameless. And most of all thank you to all of you who undertook this Namarupa Yatra Divine in the true spirit of modern day pilgrims.

I sincerely hope that you and your dearest will reap the benefits for many many years to come and that it will be helpful to all of us in our search for peace, health and happiness.

So glad to have been of service.

    Lots of Love
